Yes, please! For this project I am looking for courageous, authentic and likeable people for creative portrait photo shoots. You don't have to be a model or have experience in front of the camera, but you should have confidence, be curious and open. If you are interested, please contact me via my contact form.

Would you like to work with me on a project or have me photograph you? Here you will find the most important questions and answers.
Time for Pictures (short: TFP) is often used in photography when a model is rewarded with photos from the photo shoot instead of a fee. In the past, these were real printouts. Today the images are made available in the form of downloads.
An agreement is recorded in writing with a so-called "Model Release Contract". It regulates the photographer's and the model's rights and obligations in relation to publications, data protection and copyright.
You can download my Model Release Agreement here. This is my basis for working with all my models.

Model Release ContractI hope, first and foremost, you have a good time and a lot of fun, insights into my work - and then of course really great photos of yourself. You can have a look at my portfolio to get an idea of what and how I photograph.
I am a passionate photographer and I love working with people of all kinds. I love the challenge when people say they are unphotogenic. Nobody is unphotogenic, there are only good and bad photographers. I've never found anyone in my career that I couldn't photograph because he or she was really unphotogenic. It may sometimes take a little longer to take the photo, but nobody is unphotogenic.
Secondly, I love the experiment. When taking photos, I can only stand in front and behind the camera to a limited extent. And it's not so much about pressing the shutter button (that's what remote controls are for). It's more about the lighting. And I can only light a person correctly, when I have this person in front of the camera. With standard light, such as for an application photo, this is not difficult. For crazy or complex lighting ideas I simply need a model.
And these are two reasons why I do these free shoots.
My passion is people and portrait photography - in the broadest sense: PEOPLE. Sometimes I'm on the road as a street photographer and document the life around me. And in the past, I have portrayed interesting people on my travels.
In the last few years, I have gotten into studio and flash photography - and I started to love it more and more. I love the aesthetics of the images and the 100% control of lighting conditions, light sources and colors. Flash photography has opened up a whole new creative world for me, which fascinates me incredibly and suits the nerdy and tech-savvy part of my personality.
One of us may connect which means that either I spoke to you personally or you noticed and contacted me.
In the next step, we meet to get to know each other and see if the chemistry between us is right. Since I work conceptually and project-based, interpersonal relationships are very important to me. At this meeting, we also discuss ideas and details about the shooting and we agree on a date and a location.
Now it's getting serious. Depending on how much time we have, there will be different light scenarios and poses. In between there will definitely be time to drink tea or smoke a cigarette. Perhaps you are still wondering what you need to bring or prepare? We discuss these details at Step 2 during our meeting. Usually you don't have to prepare yourself or bring any special things with you. If make-up is necessary, I will provide that too.
No, come as you are! When we met and agreed to a photo shoot in Step 2, we already talked about ideas and visions, and also about any props or clothes you need to bring along with you. Apart from this, you don't need to prepare anything.
No problem, I'm happy to answer all your other questions. You can use my contact form or email address hello[at]annemanke.com.
